Trish is offering another class in the beautiful art of Kinusaiga — a traditional Japanese craft often called “quilting without thread.”
Join us for a special Memorial Angel Kinusaiga Workshop at Painted Pastures, where you will be guided step by step to create your own framed fabric angel using pieces of clothing from a loved one who has passed.
Bring clothing from your loved one to use as the fabric for your angel. Shirts, blouses, dresses, pajamas, ties, or other meaningful fabric pieces can become part of your keepsake. ***NOTE: Thick material will not work, as the fabric needs to be able to be tucked into scored foam board.
Whether you’ve never considered yourself artistic or you’re an experienced crafter looking for a new creative outlet, this beginner-friendly workshop is designed for everyone. No sewing skills or artistic experience are required.
